Is it just me, or does it kinda sound like “a messenger”? *Points at title*
As I’ve had several hours to ponder this linguistic nuance, I have also come up with a thoroughly convincing conspiracy theory. See, as you all should know, the inventor of the Mason jar lived in Philadelphia, the Templar capital of the USA. He must have been part of the Knights Templar, and, in order to secretly transmit messages across the United States unbeknownst to the general public, was commissioned by the Grand Knight to invent the Mason jar–“messenger”.
To this very day, Mason jars are used to transmit secret coded messages across the world by
Abstergo the Templars. Probably.
